TrustROI
Know the ROI of Any SaaS Tool before you subscribe
When people land on a SaaS website today they usually see the same things:
• “Boost productivity”
• “Save time”
• “Increase revenue”
Then come the testimonials and reviews.
But here’s the problem: buyers don’t fully trust them anymore.
Testimonials can be bought.
Reviews can be faked.
AI can generate hundreds of them in seconds.
As a result, many founders are unintentionally asking users to trust marketing claims instead of measurable value.
And buyers are getting more skeptical.
So I started thinking:
What if SaaS products could prove their ROI instead of just claiming value?
That’s what led me to build TrustROI.
TrustROI lets founders show the real ROI of their SaaS so users can understand the value before subscribing.
Recently I shipped TrustROI V2, which adds something important.
Now founders can verify ROI signals using real payment sources:
• Stripe
• Pebble
• RevenueCat
• Dodo Payments
This allows TrustROI to generate a verified TrustROI score based on real usage and revenue data.
The goal is simple:
Move SaaS marketing from claims → proof.
Instead of asking users to believe testimonials, founders can show measurable product value.
And adding a SaaS to TrustROI takes less than 60 seconds.
If you're building a SaaS, I'd love your feedback and thoughts.
Over the last few years I noticed something strange about how we all use SaaS.
We spend hours researching tools.
We read reviews.
We compare features.
But almost nobody talks about the one thing that actually matters: ROI.
Most platforms help you discover tools.
But they don’t answer questions like:
Is this tool actually worth the price?
How much value does it deliver compared to its cost?
Will this subscription make sense long-term?
So a lot of founders (myself included) end up stacking SaaS subscriptions and hoping they’re worth it.
Sometimes they are.
Sometimes they’re not.
That’s what pushed me to build TrustROI.
The idea is simple: a place where you can explore SaaS tools and understand their real value vs cost, instead of just looking at features or reviews.
It’s still early, but the goal is to make SaaS spending more transparent for founders, teams, and operators.
Curious to hear from other founders here:
How do you currently decide if a SaaS tool is worth paying for?
Is it mostly intuition, recommendations, or something else?
Also open to feedback if anyone wants to check it out.

Something interesting happened while I was collecting data for TrustROI.
I started looking at pricing and typical usage patterns across popular SaaS tools.
And a pattern started to appear.
A lot of founders and small teams are paying for tools they barely use.
Here are some rough numbers I noticed while researching SaaS pricing and usage patterns:
The average startup uses 8–15 SaaS tools.
If the average tool costs around $30–$100/month, that means many startups are spending $300–$1200/month on software.
But here’s the surprising part.
Many tools are only used for one or two features.
Which means a lot of teams are paying full subscription prices for a small fraction of the value.
In some cases, a single feature justifies the whole cost.
In others, it definitely doesn’t.
This made me wonder if SaaS discovery is solving the wrong problem.
Right now most platforms help you find more tools.
But maybe what founders actually need is a way to understand:
Is this tool worth the price for my use case?
That’s one of the ideas behind TrustROI, where I'm trying to make SaaS value more transparent.
Curious how others think about this.
How many SaaS tools is your company currently paying for?
And how many of them would you say are actually worth the cost? 🤔

I built TrustROI because SaaS spending is full of guesswork. Founders and teams keep adding tools without really knowing if they deliver real value. TrustROI exists to bring transparency to SaaS decisions by helping peop
