Just shipped UTMRunner → tracking links builder that's actually fast and fun.

Why I Built This

Digital marketer here. I've created 1,000+ UTM links over 2 years.

Every tool out there:

- Design from 2000s

- Multiple text fields

- Slow clicking process

- Nothing changed in 10 years

- They all look identical

I needed something that didn't make me want to quit marketing daily.

Also: going through a rough patch (toxic roommate + breakup). Needed a creative escape that was mine.

So I built a karate rabbit that runs through biomes while you generate tracking links. 🐰🥋

What Makes It Different

Speed: Keyboard-first flow (Tab/Space/Enter). ~3x faster than Google's URL Builder.

Fun: Not just cosmetic. The rabbit + smooth animations make repetitive work genuinely enjoyable.

Simple: Client-side only. Free forever. Optional donations if it helps you.

The Build

- Time: 4 days (nights + weekends)

- AI: Claude/Cursor/Gemini handled 95% of code

- Me: UX decisions, flow, the rabbit concept, the "why?"

- Stack: React + Vite

Building this was therapy. I used to hate creating UTMs. Now I kinda love it.

What I Learned

1. AI executes fast, but vision is still human

2. Fun UX = real differentiation (not just pretty)

3. Shipping beats perfecting

4. Boring tools don't have to stay boring

What's Next

Launching another tool in 2 weeks. Building a suite of gamified productivity tools for marketers/builders.
