Vavus AI
The most complete translation and dictation platform.
Big step for us: Vavus AI is publicly live on Google Play.
One app for every kind of translation: real-time voice, translated calls, document translation with OCR, encrypted multilingual chat, and a keyboard that translates as you type. 200+ languages, one account across iOS, Android, web and desktop.
Three choices that mattered getting here: client-side encryption from day one (the server stores only ciphertext, so transcripts stay private), building for every platform from the same account instead of Android-first-everything-later, and keeping a free tier so people can prove it works on a real conversation before paying a cent.
Search "Vavus AI" on Google Play, or start on the web at vavusai.com.
For the founders here who've shipped translation or i18n: which language pair surprised you the most in testing?
A new customer texts you. Real job, ready to book.
The message is in a language you don't read.
For a lot of small businesses, this is where the job quietly dies.
And the numbers back it up: 76% of online shoppers prefer to buy when the information is in their own language — and 40% will never buy in another language at all (CSA Research, 2020).
So what do most people do? Open Google Translate. Paste the message. Read it. Switch back. Type a reply. Paste it again.
For one sentence, fine. For a real back-and-forth about scope, price, and timing? It's slow, it drops the thread, and it makes you look less professional than the competitor who just answered clearly.
Here's the fix: stop putting the translation in a separate app. Put it in the keyboard.
That's what Vavus Keyboard does — it works wherever the customer actually messaged you (WhatsApp, SMS, iMessage, Instagram DMs, Marketplace), in both directions:
→ 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: read their message in your language, in the chat.
→ 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲-𝗮𝘀-𝘆𝗼𝘂-𝘁𝘆𝗽𝗲: write your reply in your language, send it in theirs.
→ 𝗗𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 + 𝗔𝗜 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗽: speak a long reply, send it clear and professional.
No second app. No copy-paste. No losing the customer.
If you run your business from your phone, the translation belongs where the work already happens — your keyboard.

This post is a better homepage than your homepage, and it is not close. "A new customer texts you, ready to book, the message is in a language you don't read, and this is where the job quietly dies" has an enemy (the Google Translate copy-paste dance), a hero (the small business owner running everything from their phone), and a job (do not lose the customer).
Your actual site leads with "the most complete platform" and a section titled "every use case there is," which competes with Google and DeepL on breadth, a fight nobody wins. But this post picks the one fight you can win: translation living in the keyboard, inside WhatsApp and Instagram DMs, so the job does not die.
Put this story, and the "76% won't buy in another language" stat, straight on the homepage. Was "the most complete platform" framing deliberate, or did the sharp version just end up in a post?
