Digital Marketing Services that crush it
We have been experimenting with different funnel tools to see which ones actually make a difference. Thought we would share our experience so far.
For analytics we mostly rely on Google Analytics and Mixpanel. Google Analytics is great for a broad overview of traffic and conversions, but it often feels cluttered and hard to dig deep into behavior. Mixpanel gives much more clarity when it comes to tracking user actions and building funnels, though it can be expensive once the free tier runs out.
For email sequences we use Mailchimp and ActiveCampaign. Mailchimp is beginner friendly and quick to set up, but its automation options are limited once you try to scale. ActiveCampaign has more advanced automation and segmentation features, but the learning curve is much steeper.
For retargeting we use Facebook Ads Manager and Google Ads. Facebook Ads are powerful for reaching warm audiences and keeping your brand in front of them, but the costs can rise quickly if not managed closely. Google Ads offer intent driven targeting, which works well for search campaigns, though it takes time to optimize and avoid wasted spend.
Overall we think the best funnel stack depends on the stage of the business. If you are early and want something simple, Mailchimp plus Google Analytics can get you started. As you grow, moving into Mixpanel, ActiveCampaign, and deeper ad retargeting can help.
