Hey, just wanted to say — your product looks really impressive. It feels useful, clean, and like something that can actually help people solve a real problem.

I’m building Everyday Tiny Tools — a marketplace for small useful web tools, mini apps, calculators, generators, AI tools, productivity helpers, and simple utilities.

The idea is to give independent creators a real place to showcase their tools, get discovered, and maybe even earn from them.

If you’ve built something small and useful, I’d love to invite you to list it here: EverydayTinyTools.com

Tools can be listed as free, or as a simple one-time purchase through the platform.

And if you have any questions, feel free to reach out anytime: nuchem@lightboltlab.com

Really like what you’re building — wishing you a lot of success with it.

This is a real problem, but the hardest part isn’t feature completeness—it’s sequencing. Restaurant tech is notoriously fragmented because each layer (ordering, payments, loyalty, CRM) has different buying triggers and incumbents. The winning move is usually not bundling everything at once, but anchoring on one high-frequency interaction (often ordering or payments) and expanding outward once customer data capture is already happening. Ownership only matters if you control the first transaction layer consistently.

Love the "own your customer relationship" angle, that's the real gap, most restaurants rent their diners from delivery apps. The WhatsApp engagement piece is smart for retention specifically.

One small gift since you're prepping launch: I ran waitrpos.com through a link-preview checker I'm building and your og:image is set to a relative path (assets/app-02-menu.png), so right now when someone shares your link it shows no preview image — worth fixing before you start getting shared around. Live audit if useful: https://metablast.dev/meta-tag-checker?url=https://www.waitrpos.com/

On your question about retention challenges: the biggest one I've seen is attribution, restaurants can't tell which touchpoint actually brought someone back. Curious how WAITR plans to close that loop.

About

Restaurants shouldn’t have to choose between running their business and growing it. WAITR exists to make growth as effortless as taking an order.
