After having a very positive feedback on our idea and a few hundred people on the waitlist we have decided to go all in. We've quit our jobs and the development of the MPV started. As always we had to cut all the non-essential features to speed up the delivery of our MVP.
We've made a landing page in Webflow where we introduced the basic concept of the product and a few extra features we thought would be helpful. We then created a simple YT pre-roll ad which proved to be very effective and brought us a few hundreds wait-list sign-ups in the coming weeks.

After seeing a high quality remote interview on YouTube we started thinking about an app which would drastically simplify producing such content. Because we had some other projects under development at the time we've decided to make a proper validation before going all-in with the project.

Quitting your job after validating demand and building a waitlist is a bold move, but it's also one of the clearest signs of founder conviction. I like the emphasis on cutting non-essential features because many startups delay launch by trying to build too much too early. The fastest learning usually comes from getting the core product into users' hands as quickly as possible.
This is highly relevant to Foundersbar because many early-stage founders struggle with defining what should and shouldn't be included in an MVP. The goal is not to build a complete product, but to validate assumptions, gather feedback, and learn from real users before investing further.
That’s probably one of the hardest but most exciting stages of building.
The “cut everything non-essential” phase usually feels painful at first, but honestly most good MVPs are just a very small core problem solved really well. A lot of founders try shipping version 12 on day one and end up delaying launch for months.
Also smart move going all in only after validating demand first. A few hundred people on a waitlist before building already puts you ahead of most early-stage startups.
