Let's travel for Wine

February 23, 2020 Let's get this started...

February is almost gone, but it still should be ok to start a New Year goal. Right? 😬

This project started almost 6 years ago, it's something that I’ve been wanting to launch but haven’t taken a commitment seriously enough to make it a priority.

So this is the year. I'm going to launch Winetour. I’ll also be applying my MVP in 3 months. Which means by the start of June a new product will be online.

My usual problem has been not setting time aside to work on this regularly. Fortunately, I started working as a freelancer, so I have more time to work on Winetour and bring this so desired idea to light.

It’s been almost 6 years since I started working on this side project. 😅

In essence, this means a lot of the work done, is now ancient and broken.

The UX still feels solid but the UI needs a little work.

The first backend draft was to be built using PhalconPHP and MySQL, and after that, using WordPress to power the whole platform, but let's face it, that was 6 and 3 years ago, respectively, so everything built so far is completely useless.

Let's start from scratch using a more modern approach.

So the plan is to work, work, work and update you on progress, every week. You can follow progress on the website, on Twitter and here on IndieHackers.

See you soon.
