Turn podcast into a blog article in minutes

March 12, 2023 Optimized backend API

While most of the site was done in Bubble, I figured that it was worth building a custom API to do what I wanted/needed

Boy was I right, but also wrong. Once I got most of the API infrastructure set up it was quite straightforward to bake in some useful features

I suppose being able to write code fast still beats pure no-code

March 9, 2023 Refined MVP

Refined the product into something sleeker, along with more coherent user flow. In my first round of tests, I managed to turn Indie Bites 76 - a 16 min podcast - into a blog article within 2 minutes!

Thought it'd be apt to test something from the IH community - big thanks @jmckinven

Pretty happy how I managed to get something up in less than a week

March 6, 2023 MVP completed

In the end, I decided to build the my MVP with a mixture of no-code and custom code - gotta put my coding skills to good use after all

Preliminary results look good after tweaking a bit - time to get some early users and customer next

Excited to see where I'll go next. Wish me luck!

The landing page looks great; a harmonious combination of colors, comprising a quick-and-easy-to-understand explanation regarding an issue that many certainly perceive as a problem. Good luck!

March 2, 2023 Finished v2 of the landing page

After finishing the first version of the landing page, I continued to refine the landing page to include benefits and additional research in the copy to make the value prop more compelling

Spending a bit of time to think of how to proceed with building the product:

  1. Custom code
  2. Continue Webflow for a more seamless experience
  3. Use Bubble to build the webapp

February 28, 2023 Finished v1 of the landing page

I took a few days to research this topic, and settled on Webflow to build my landing page. Decided on a simple page and my eventual color scheme. Used Figma to generate any collaterals I needed as well.

Have yet to commit any money to the idea, apart from the URL purchase

It's great to hear that you have researched and chosen Webflow to build your landing page. The platform is known for its user-friendly interface and flexibility.

It's wise to hold off on spending money until you have a clear idea of what you want to achieve with your landing page.

Good luck with your project and I hope it proves to be a success!

Starting a business takes a lot of courage, and I root for you taking this step. 30 years from now you most probably would rather regret not having done it. All the best!

February 24, 2023 How I came up with this idea

I was trying to figure out how I can turn a code documentation into a video tutorial, and vice versa. However, my research led me to realize that it's quite challenging to do so. I soon abandoned the idea, but I recalled how I had a tough time turning an interview into a blog article and that's how Woofer AI was born!

About

When I was working on my first startup a few years ago, I would interview people and turn it into a blog article. But that process was laborious and time-consuming. With advances in AI, people like myself won't suffer
