How I built Youtur (with zero coding background)
A few weeks ago, I didn't know what code was.
I'm a YouTube creator myself, and I kept running into the same problem — staring at a blank title field, guessing what tags might work, writing descriptions that probably weren't doing much for my SEO. So I thought: what if there was a tool that just... did this for me, using AI?
I had no dev background. No idea what an API was. But I had an idea and a phone.
I started building on Bolt.new, prompting my way through everything — authentication, databases, API integrations. Google Sign-In alone took me through more redirect_uri_mismatch errors than I want to admit. I broke things, fixed things, broke them again. Learned what Supabase, Cloudflare Workers, and OpenRouter even were, one error message at a time.
Slowly, Youtur came together:
- An AI Channel Auditor — paste any channel, get a full breakdown of pros, cons, and growth strategies
- A Title Generator and Tag Generator, each with their own polished pages
- Support for English, Hindi, and Hinglish — because a lot of us mix languages when we write, and I wanted a tool that actually gets that
- Free daily usage, with ad-supported unlocks for more
I published it live. Set up Google Search Console. Fixed a broken sitemap that kept returning HTML instead of XML. Got rate-limited by my own API keys and had to figure out failover logic. Got told by an ad network I'd accidentally turned on adult ads. Got rejected from a subreddit for being "AI slop."
None of it was smooth. All of it got shipped anyway.
Youtur is live now, free to use, built by someone who started this with zero coding experience and a phone. If you're a creator, I'd love for you to try it and tell me what's missing.

Remove "anal" from the URL.
The difference between searching for plugins and actually choosing one is a clear problem. Curious how often the quiz result surprises users compared with what they expected to find.
