Well, this was a dud. But totally worth trying.

I paid Twitter to promote my second ever tweet. It did buy me 600 impressions but very few interactions that I hoped for (link clicks, likes, follows). Maybe Twitter can't predict a good audience yet, since I have no followers and almost no content to analyse.

I guess it was a bit early. Will try again later :)

I'll be posting to Twitter in order to to build an audience. Also the website is looking for its first visitors :) It is still an early version but I will focus on marketing for now instead of SEO, building more features etc. I am also trying promoted tweets, starting out with just 10 bucks toward the campaign. Let's see.

I do not have any idea what I will send out to people but there is a form to collect email addresses on the website now. I will think of what type of updates to email out when I get the first bunch of people interested. Probably some form of weekly highlights.

For the prototype I needed: sample article data, a quick way to build an app.
Over the last week I put together a list of sites that publish content regularly (mostly blogs, youtube channels). I then acraped article headlines and publish dates from a bunch of these sites and now have demo data set of 100 real articles. Lives in Airtable.
In another two days I built the very first prototype, my first project using Bubble. The app pulls article data from Airtable and displays a list of articles.
Next up: adding a way to subscribe to new articles.

Zackzack is scartching my own itch. I have always disliked the nature of websites and media covering the stock market. It's too much noise. As a longterm oriented investor I need deeply and well researched articles. Those are too hard to find in German.
