If you’ve built something cool and now you’re thinking, “Where do I show this to other developers?” Like many developers (myself included), you might prefer writing code over marketing, but getting your product in front of the right audience is quite important.
Before jumping into platforms, here’s what you need for a successful launch.
Timing Matters: Launch on Tuesday or Wednesday when developers are most active online.
Clear Description: Skip the buzzwords and just tell us what problem your tool solves.
Visual Appeal: Include screenshots of your tool in action. If possible, add a short video showing the key features.
Be Present: Block out your launch day for responding to questions and thank supporters.
Documentation Ready: Have your README, quick start guide, and basic documentation ready before launching.

Very helpful. Thanks!
I'm particularly interested in hearing about experiences with launching on Product Hunt. Did you find it a good way to gain traction or upvotes?
By the way, should we consider adding G2 or Capterra to the launch list?
PH is one of the best launch platform for SaaS products. And few things you can keep in mind while planning to launch:
Be active on the PH community 1-2 weeks before the launch
Create great visuals/demo video for the launch
Share your launch details/ updates on socials and on communities which you are part of.
Don't forget to add testimonials on your website before launching.
Have some audience either an email list or social media so people can support you in the initial hours of the launch otherwise your product wont get featured. But will get a good backlink from it.
Though Boringlaunch is not a SaaS, but these are few of my learnings from the past launches.
Both G2 and Capterra are good platforms but there are not a launch pad. You can add your product there to get a good backlink.
Thanks for your information. Much appreciated.
Thanks for that, just refreshed my list with such platforms :)
Happy to help
