I've spent the last year obsessed with one problem:
Why does writing and publishing a book still require stitching together 5-7 different tools?
Most authors end up using:
• ChatGPT or Claude for brainstorming
• Google Docs for writing
• Canva for covers
• Formatting tools for EPUB/PDF
• Separate audiobook tools
• Separate marketing tools
The workflow is fragmented and most people never make it from idea → finished book.
So I built AIWriteBook.
The goal was simple: give authors one place to go from a rough idea to a publish-ready book.
Today AIWriteBook helps writers:
• Generate outlines and chapters
• Create covers and illustrations
• Export EPUB, PDF, and DOCX
• Generate audiobooks
• Build an author page
• Publish and distribute their work
A few things I've learned building this:
Most people don't struggle with writing. They struggle with finishing.
The biggest competitor isn't another AI tool. It's abandonment. Most books never get completed.
Authors care far more about consistency, structure, and workflow than raw AI output quality.
Distribution matters as much as creation.
We're still early, but seeing writers go from "I have an idea" to "my book is published" is incredibly rewarding.
