Interesting that AI search drives a small share of traffic but a big share of signups. Shows how quality beats quantity. In Finsight AI, I’ve seen similar patterns — fewer but higher‑intent signals matter most.

Really like the angle here. Tracking visibility across ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and AI Overviews in one place is becoming increasingly useful, and the MCP integration makes this especially interesting. The free tier is a smart way to let people actually test the value before committing.

Fifty prompts across four engines only helps if the prompt set is buyer intent rather than brand lookups, so I would build the list from questions that end in a purchase and keep it frozen. The other thing worth surfacing is jitter: the same question in a fresh chat can return a different shortlist, so a single run is a mood, not a measurement. Running each prompt about three times a week and logging date, question, engine, and whether the answer named you, a named competitor, or nobody makes the trend readable. Nobody gets named is itself a finding, and it usually points at the first screen of one page rather than at the tracker.

How do you currently handle your analytics and would you mind reading my indiehacker pots on how AI crawlers and bots are ruining analytics data?

About

AEO Copilot is born due to my day to day frustration. I was looking for a simple tool to help me track and optimize AEO. When I saw the price tag, I lost it. Paying 500$/month for synthetic data made no sense.
